The Amaranth Diabetes Foundation was created in 1979 to provide the American Diabetes Association with funds which would be directed solely toward research and grants.  Since its inception donations from the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation to the American Diabetes Association have been in excess of 8 million dollars.

As a 501(c) (3) foundation all donations to support this fight to cure diabetes are tax deductible
